The military compound has dissolved the Local Area Committee of Area 208, stating that they had the right to do so.
Another election has been held, this time by half-secret ballot, preventing fellow inmates from seeing their decision, but still allowing the military compound to.
The military compound warned that if the outcome of the election was not satisfactory, they could pick their favoured candidate and veto the elected candidate, stating that "democracy is a myth".
However, the military compound has stated that they did not have to do that, as the results of the election were satisfactory to their wants.
The military compound stated that for one of the Committee spots, there was a tie, so for that one, the votes of the other Committee members were counted double.
